I am absolutely jumping on the bandwagon and creating a dreamwidth account after a solid decade of lurking, hopping from Livejournal to dreamwidth to Tumblr and back again. I'll be updating the page as it goes, but for now I will be placing my writing on here, though it will usually be cross-posted on Tumblr and Ao3 as well.

Please find below a list of my favourite characters to talk and write about, as well as some of my favourite pairings. I am at heart (sadly) an England fan, so this blog will certainly centre on that wet sad rabbit of a man and his immediate connections.

Lukewarm Coffee and Plum Rice Pudding

Arthur’s house is small. It is small, old, and smells of syrup and plums. When Alfred inquires as to why, England gives him a very funny look, as if the other man is as stupid as Arthur’s frequent insults suggest. He simply states that if Alfred cared to look in the kitchen, he would see the vat bubbling away on the hob.

America ponders how he is to do such a thing, considering he is still standing on England’s porch.

Alfred needs a break, and Arthur's door is always open.

Despite that Bravery

In 1069, following a failed attempt by the Scottish King to restore the Anglo-Saxon royals to the throne of England, William the Conqueror pillaged the North as punishment for the uprising. With a third of England starving and the House of Wessex once again in exile, Scotland's King elects to marry the last English princess instead, ending any chance of a reprisal.

A young and still not quite united Scotland is tasked with handing over his little sister to this new Norman King. They talk on the route to York on what is to become of them now.
